Simple but dope video from the legends Masta Ace & ED OG off there new album Arts & Entertainment. This is a pure hip hop with the two vets spitting 8’s back and forth with enough lyrical jabs to please any true hip hop head.
I’ll be the first to admit that I wasnt the biggest Skyzoo fan in the world but after hearing his debut album “The Salvation” I am officially on the bandwagon. This is his video for his single Popularity with a play on the Saved By The Bell show. Enjoy and support hip hop.
Every once in a while there is a time when we wonder why we even do this blog and then we hear an emcee that is true definition of the neglected sound. An emcee that is well-crafted with flow, creativity, originality but not appeasing to the creation of the mainstream. Well the Southside Chicago-bred emcee known as Thaione Davis is that definition. This brother is a working man emcee not about the glitz and glamour but an emcee thats really refreshing to hear. An emcee that just wants to be heard so take a few minutes and check out the short documentary of this emcee.
As the Brookyln MC preps Exhibit B for release this Halloween, Neglected Sound felt it was necessary to make sure everybody got a chance to peep the classic Exhibit A mixtape. This mixtape is exactly what the title suggest a real hip hop project with intelligent, witty lyrics and substance. Do yourself a favor and download this mixtape. Follow Poe on twitter @poepicasso
